No, He brought me here,

To live mind set beyond here.

Not everyone made it here,

The promise to live near,

To hold Him dear.

His cross to bear,

His voice to hear.

Not something mere,

A gift to cherish dear,

You being here.

The start of another year,

Still journeying there,

Preparation here,

For eternity there.

Failings in the distant rear,

Eternal promises to cherish dear,

Following Him faithfully here.
