Travel (Ghana especially!)

I am Ghanaian....proudly so! I believe there's a reason and a purpose why we have people of various tongues and cultures, and it's by no accident that we are found in a particular place at a particular time. Our place of origin, the experiences we pick up along life's journey, the people who surround us, etc. all form major factors in contributing to who we are at our very core.

Ghana is beautiful. Of course, beauty, they say, lies in the eyes of the beholder. I have come to learn and appreciate that if you look for beauty in a place or in a person, you often find it. Sadly, many people live in various places around the world and refuse to find anything good in those places. Some live with their bodies in one place, but with their hearts in another place (if your spouse lives in another place, this is acceptable :)...)....

In this section, I hope to share a few things that can be done in Ghana; places to see, road trips that could be embarked on, places to go on ordinary weekends, where to find a rabbit, etc.

I love this quote by Craig Groeschel:
“There is no vacation, no experience, no dream home, and no thing outside of God that can bring rest in the essence of who you are. Your soul will be restless until it finds rest in Him.” Selah.

It's now 24th July 2024...a number of years since I conceived the 'Travel' page on this blog. I haven't been able to do much here, but I have shared quite a bit about my travels and experiences (especially in Ghana) - on Google: 5131 contributions, Local Guide Level 8, name: Juliet Mawunyo Gbormittah. I hope you find the shared reviews and photos useful. Cheers!
