About Akua Asabea
Hi! My name is Juliet Mawunyo Gbormittah, and I love to read and write (pen name: Akua Asabea). Daughter of Jeremiah David Addo & Sophia Odofley Addo, wife of Efo, mother of thousands, by God's Grace :). I currently live in Tema, Ghana, though I come from Wegbe-Kpalime in the Volta Region. I'm still discovering myself because I am God's work in progress but I work as an Electrical Engineer sometimes (in the areas of electrical services for buildings, energy efficiency solutions and solar home systems). Other times, I make fruit and vegetable salads, and mix fruit juices at Out-of-Eden. I would call myself an interesting Christian as far as church membership is concerned because I fit in both orthodox and charismatic congregations. On Saturday nights, I’m usually at the Agape House New Testament Church in Accra and on some Sundays, I am at the Good Shepherd Congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (Lashibi). I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I love His people. On many days I feel the Church should be more united than we currently are...not too fixated on our various denominations but more focused on the greater mission of shining our lights together in a dark world. We can achieve so much more if we see one another as siblings instead of rivals, bearing in mind that we’re members of One Body with the same Heavenly Father.
Oops! I deviated a bit..:). I love people and I think we should all work better at the relationships in our lives...I like to travel...and to ask questions...and to have conversations...and to be a vessel in the hands of God...and many other things; some of which you’d get to know about on this blog and beyond. I pray that this blog blesses you and encourages you to be all that God has called you to be. Amen!
