Thoughts and words of a Ghanaian lady who loves God and people, places and memories... and in loving memory of one of her favourite bloggers, Sidney Nii Sai Schandorf.
....We were in Class 4 when a new kid appeared on the block...with a rather exotic name - Charlene Hamilton. We became friends. Not long after that, we discovered that our homes were quite close. For many years, the highlight of our home-visits was the fact that we'd see each other off over and over again, and end up spending over an hour on a stretch of road that should take a maximum of 15 minutes for even the slowest walking-person! We parted schools in JHS, but the friendship continued; we parted schools again in SHS, but the sisterhood grew stronger; we were in different halls in our first year in KNUST, but the ties that bound us together became tighter; we became room-mates in 'Gaza' for two years and our lives got further intertwined!
Happy Birthday Rabs! You've been a blessing! Your kind and generous heart has touched many lives. Thank you for everything. :)
